Astley Bank and Scaitcliffe Hall

Two wedding this week and both on Friday, so happy to say they got lovely weather.

The First cake, a three tier with Handmade Lillie’s and Rose’s set on separated tiers with a cushion design on top and bottom cakes, in Gold, Chocolate and Ivory. For Amy and Philip who had their big day at the lovely setting of

Scaitcliffe Hall in Todmonden.

 

 

 

Our second delivery was at Astley Bank in Darwen for Pauline and Phillip’s big day, a simple 2 tier Cake with Gerbera’s and Poppy’s in bright Yellow and Purple, a lovely and lively mix.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Always lovely to bump in to our friends when out and about and Sarah Cox from Venue Styling was busy away making a great job of styling the venue. Astley Bank in Darwen itself is a lovely venue, and with the venue styling just Fab!!

First weddings of June

2 wedding cakes this week starting with Martin and Helen – who had their wedding Burnley FC’s European suite, a three tier chocolate cigarillo's Cake with handmade sugar Rose’s and matching Cup Cakes

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The second made for Joanne and Ashley a five tier tall and slim cake with a cascade of white and pink hand made sugar orchids they choose the lovely Coniston Hotel in Gargrave for their big day and the venue looked great. Also a big thank you to the team at Coniston hotel for their help on the day.

Nice to see both brides got stunning weather for their big days and hope they all really enjoyed it.
